Power Shift Network (PSN) is a dynamic network of youth-focused climate justice organizations. Recognizing that climate stakes are especially high for Millennials because they stand to bear the greatest near-term burden of unabated climate change, the network mobilizes the collective power of young people to mitigate climate change and create a just, clean energy future. In the coming year, PSN will engage with over 10,000 young people to safeguard progress made on climate justice from a hostile presidential administration, combating new fossil fuel infrastructure, divesting our democracy from fossil fuels, and engaging young climate leaders from frontline communities.
The core of PSN’s work is developing and nurturing the kind of creative collaborations that Pennywise seeks out to support. PSN’s structure creates a model that works from the bottom up: bringing resources, knowledge, and partnerships to bear on problems faced by communities across the country. These collaborations strengthen one another as similar efforts in different areas can share best practices, strategize, and avoid duplicating efforts. Pennywise is proud to support PSN and the next generation of leaders in climate change activism that will emerge as a result of their innovative approach.
